THEY'RE one of the most used pieces of furniture in our homes, but let's be honest - kitchen tables can be clunky as well as a total eyesore.
That said, if you've got a big family to feed then you have no choice but to invest in a large dining table... at least that's what we always thought.
Posting a video of her new FOLDING dining table on the Facebook group DIY On a Budget Official, Leanne Evans admitted that she'd been dropping hints to her husband for quite a while.
She wrote: "Was getting annoyed with how much space the dining table was taking up in the kitchen so jokingly told hubby I wanted a fold-up one and this is what he's made!"
The savvy bloke made their new table out of leftover scaffold boards from and a building site and then painted the bottom with blackboard paint - meaning they now have somewhere to write their shopping list or food plans for the week. Genius.
She added: "In total, it was £37 for hinges, screws, varnish etc. Will be painting the legs and frame in white when we decorate the kitchen soon."
Leanne intends to invest in some industrial-style stools to round her swanky new table when she's finishing off her new kitchen.
The 14-second clip - which has racked up over 10,000 "likes" - shows Leanne's husband easily lifting the table and folding the legs down and clipping it onto the wall.
Unsurprisingly, other members of the group were in awe of the genius design and are desperate to create their own.

Leanne EvansOne replied: "Excellent! And looks great when folded away also."
Another raved: "Absolutely superb. Love it, well done you!"
Meanwhile a third added: "This is so good. I was after one like this for ages but now I could make it - well done!"
